The formulation break-through was achieved in great part due to diligent efforts of Senior Research and Development Chemist, Boxiu 'Rachel' Cheng.
Cheng brings 25 years of experience in the surface finishing industry, including in-depth research on corrosion inhibitors and surface modification at Nanjing University of Chemical Technology in P.R. China, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Chemistry. She holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Western Ontario. Cheng most recently served as Director for Voitto Chemical and as Research Scientist for Metalast International, developing Al, Mg and Ti anodizing technologies.
